Waste Management became our contractor on June 1, 2012. This contract is rebid every two years. Our goal is to provide exceptional services to our residents at the lowest price possible. 13.5% of our General Budget is for this service. We feel it is a service worthy of our budget and tax dollars. On average, each household cost is $3.78 per week. This is a significant savings to our residents. If each resident were to obtain their own curbside service the cost is significantly higher, nearly double. Therefore, we continue to rebid our contract to attract new providers and competitive pricing.
